Soprema Inc. has appointed Michael McClay, a five-year member of the Soprema business development team, as a dedicated sales representative for the Northern Illinois region.
“Michael brings to the Northern Illinois region not only a strong track record as a sales representative who is knowledgeable about Soprema’s products and services, but a strong understanding of building science and how customers can achieve lasting positive results,” said Jeff Valentine, district sales manager at Soprema. “I am confident our customers in the area will enjoy working with Michael and will find his expertise valuable as they design and construct buildings built to last.”
McClay is a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Construction Management. According to the company, McClay brings a strong background in general waterproofing, below-grade applications, liquids and wall systems to the job. He is also an active participant in many local and industry associations including AIA and RCI. Michael regularly draws upon his areas of expertise to educate architects, consultants, contractors and building owners on proper building design and waterproofing techniques, and he looks forward to continuing to educate the community in his new role.
